




Since the day he was born, Kyle Ebersole has always dreamt of being a racecar driver. He has been able to achieve success in every level of competition that he’s competed in thus far. Kyle has had experience on both dirt and asphalt tracks all along the east coast, and has excelled in everything he’s driven.
At the age of 9 in the year 2000, Kyle’s racing career began with racing Go-Karts at Path Valley Speedway, and later also raced at Shippensburg Speedway. At both tracks, he was able to accumulate wins in every division of Go-Karts that he competed in. In 2004 and 2005, Kyle started competing at a state level in the PDKS, and at a national level in the WKA Briggs of Stratton Dirt Series. During both years, he ran very competitively, achieving top 5’s weekly in the PDKS, and a fast-time award in the WKA Briggs of Stratton Dirt Series along with several podium finishes.
Along with competing in go-karts in 2005, Kyle started racing Tobias Slingshots at Linda’s Speedway. He would eventually win his first slingshot race later that year, and finish 12th in the point’s standings. In 2006, Kyle returned to Linda’s Speedway to run the full schedule along with running the Mid-Atlantic Slingshot Tour, and the National Slingshot Tour. That year, Kyle raced in 34 events, claiming 5 wins, 21 top-5 finishes, and 31 top-10 finishes. By the end of the outstanding 2006 season, Kyle had won the Linda’s Speedway Championship, the Mid-Atlantic Slingshot Tour Championship, and placed 2nd in the National Slingshot Tour. Also, Kyle was recognized in the Young Racer’s Club in Circle Track magazine for his accomplishments that year.
In 2007, Kyle moved to the next step in his racing career by stepping up to the Asphalt Modified division, racing at Mountain Speedway. Also he would continue racing select Slingshot races including several tour races. That year, he would go on to win several more Slingshot wins and finish 10th in points at Mountain Speedway. Also that year, Kyle gain experience running at Big-Block Dirt Modified at several events at Hagerstown Speedway. In 2008, Kyle returned to Mountain Speedway to run the full season schedule and run a couple ROC Asphalt Modified races. After an engine failure during practice at Oswego Speedway for his debut ROC appearance, he went on to finish 11th in his first ROC Asphalt Modified race at Chemung Speedrome. To continue the dirt-track experience, Kyle raced at numerous Sportsman races at Bridgeport Speedway in a Dirt Modified. That year he also went on to win his first asphalt modified race at Mountain Speedway, and by the end of the year, finish 2nd in points, receiving the most improved driver award for the Modified division.
The 2009 racing season for Kyle was one the most successful season’s to date in his career. Starting off the year at Sundance Vacations Speedway, Kyle won the pole postition in time trials, then never looked back winning the first race of the year. From then on, Kyle had won the first 3 out of 5 races at the speedway. By the end of the year, Kyle became the Sundance Vacations Speedway champion, after missing a race to attend an ROC event. Not only was he the champion, but he was awarded the hard charger award, and he became the youngest ever sportsman or modified champion in Pennslyvania history. Also in 2009 Kyle raced most of the Asphalt ROC schedule, and was consistently a conteder. The 2009 season was a big year in Kyle’s career and gives big optimism towards 2010.
Kyle had high hopes heading into the 2010 season, planning to run the ROC Asphalt Modified Tour, and as many races at Sundance Vacations Speedway along with other selected races. He has shown great potential and determination over his short career as he continues to improve and succeed as the competition continues to increase. Kyle continues to race at higher levels of racing and aspires his dream of climbing the ranks to the pinnacle of motorsports, a professional career in NASCAR.
